3. Answer the following questions.
(a) What is a food pyramid?
(b) How does the food pyramid help us?
(c) Which foods have vitamins?
(d) What are the dairy products? What are their functions?
(e) Which foods give us energy?
(f) Which foods help our teeth and bones?
Answer: (a) A food Pyramid is a chart to show the four groups of foods.
(b) The food pyramid helps us to understand the different food groups.
(c) Fruits and vegetables have vitamins.
(d) Milk and eggs are dairy products. They help our teeth and bones.
(e) Grains give us energy. So , the foods made from grains, for example, rice, ruti and bread gives us energy.
(f) Dairy products like milk and eggs help our teeth and bones.

4. Write a short composition on ‘Food Habit’ by answering the following question.
a) What is good health?
b) Why should we eat a good mix of food?

d) Why shouldn't we eat a lot of fatty food?
e) What is the importance of taking a balanced diet?
Answer: Food habit
Good health means the state of being healthy; both mentally and physically. We should eat a good mix of food to be healthy. We should eat plenty of breads, cereals, rice, noodles, potatoes etc. And we should eat very little fatty food items, like- sweets, burgers, chips etc. In short, we can keep good health by eating a balanced diet.
