Stephen Hawking is considered the greatest physicist after Einstein. He was born in England in 1942. He was very skilled in Mathematics from the early age. He wrote the book ‘A Brief History of Time’: From the Big Bang to the Present Times’ in 1988. In this book, he explains cosmology for the general public. Answer : 2. (a) According to the passage, Zahir Raihan is regarded as a golden son of Bangladesh due to his outstanding talent of making symbolic films, his active participation in various movements and especially his contribution to the Liberation War with direct and indirect participation.
(b) ‘Besides being known as a talented film maker, prominent writer and journalist, Zahir Raihan was a generous man’- I support this opinion wholeheartedly. To help the freedom fighters, Zahir Raihan gave all his money that he got from the shows of his legendary film ‘Jibon Thekey Neya’ to the Freedom Fighters Trust. And again on 30 December 1971 Zahir Raihan left home to get his brother Shahidullah Kaiser back but unfortunately Zahir Raihan never came back. Again this towering writer’s patriotic activities inspire us to perform our duties towards our beloved country.
(c) Shahidullah Kaisar was Zahir Raihan’s elder brother who was also a great intellectual and famous writer of Bangladesh. Shahidullah was captured and killed by the Pakistani army and local collaborators during the last days of the war.
